Dolly Read (Martin)

Dolly Read, later Dolly Martin, (born in England in 1944) is one of my favorite 60s models. She was Playboy’s PMOM in May 1966, and of all the magazine’s sexy girls-next-door, she was one of the sexiest and loveliest. She was also an actress, appearing in such movies as Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, and she was also, of course, a Playboy Bunny. In 1971 she married Dick Martin, half of the Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-in team. They divorced in 1974…and remarried in 1978. They remained together until Dick Martin died in 2008. Dolly Read/Martin was still active in entertainment circles at least as late as 2006 when she was interviewed for a DVD of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. She has a wikipedia entry.
