Fran Jeffries

Fran Jeffries (1937-2016) was an American actress, singer, and model. If you’ve ever watched the original Pink Panther movie, you’ve seen Ms. Jeffries in action. She is the beautiful woman who sings “Meglio stasera” (a.k.a., “It had better be tonight). While she looks European, and sings in Italian, she was actually an American who had been born in California. In addition to the Pink Panther, she was in a wide variety of films and TV shows, including “Sex And The Single Girl.” She also did two Playboy shoots, once in 1971 and again in 1982.
