Laura Robson is a British tennis player, who is the current no. 1 ranked female player in the United Kingdom, but, a little known fact about the 19 year old is that she’s currently training to become  an executioner in her spare time. “That’s correct” said Laura, “ I became fascinated by executions a couple of years ago whilst playing in the Iranian Open tournament in Tehran” She went on, “ I was able to watch a public hanging in the main square and was immediately captivated by the majesty and spectacle of it all. I made some enquiries and was able to enrol on a part time course at the University of Tehran. When my tennis career is over, I’m hoping to become a full time executioner. I have a dark grey boiler suit and black balaclava at the moment and at weekends stage mock executions in my back garden with a set of gallows I’ve had installed”
